Sustainability and traceability is not the same thing

Although sustainability and traceability is not the same thing, they are often put in the same bucket within an organisation.


It falls on the sustainability department to drive traceability, because without a traceable supply chain, we can not have a sustainable supply chain.


Here are the first two things to answer when creating visibility of our apparel supply chain:


🌱 Do we need visibility all the way from the source?


👚 Do we need visibility of every order/article, or is it enough with the general supply chain?


That will give you a hint on how to get started, and with which methodology.


Then you just need to get the sourcing and supply chain organisation to own the implementation and the execution of it 😉
